Topp–Leone odd log-logistic exponential distribution: Its improved estimators and applications

چکیده
In this paper, a new three-parameter lifetime model called the Topp–Leone odd log-logistic exponential distribution is proposed. Its density function can be expressed as linear mixture of exponentiated densities and reversed-J shaped, skewed to left right. Further, hazard rate monotone, unimodal, constant, J-shaped, constant-increasing-decreasing decreasing-increasing-decreasing bathtub-shaped. Our main focus on estimation from frequentist point view, yet, some statistical reliability characteristics for proposed are derived. We briefly describe different estimators namely, maximum likelihood estimators, ordinary least-squares weighted percentile product spacings Cramér-von-Mises minimum distance Anderson-Darling right-tail estimators. Monte Carlo simulations performed compare performance methods both small large samples. illustrate by means two real data sets show more appropriate compared other well-known distributions.
